Early registration is recommended!

This is a full day, outdoor, very active program. Campers may only be registered if they have completed JK. Campers must be entering SK or Grade 1 to qualify for this program.

Who is this program for?

Junior General Camp is suitable for campers who are finished JK and who are registering for either SK or Grade 1 in the fall.

Please note that changes have been made to the Junior General Camp program so that we are able to offer it during the summer of 2021.  The modifications include smaller number of campers, masks and physical distance requirements as per public health, and the removal of swimming from the program for the summer of 2021 only.  This will be added back in once Covid-19 mitigation strategies subside.

Junior General Camp provides a smaller ratio of care, smooth transitions, a supportive environment with lots of TLC, assistance with the basics like keeping track of belongings, and help with making connections with fellow campers.

All campers who are entering SK and Grade 1 will register for Junior General Camp upon registration.

Junior General Camp is perfect for campers from this age bracket who LOVE being outdoors and active.  This is a very active program and we are outdoors all day every day!  Please email us to ask any questions you might have about the program.  We want to ensure that you have all of the inforamation that you need when deciding if Kids Inc Camp is the right program for your camper.

What is this program about?

Kids Inc Camp is a summer camp that is all about creating memories for our campers, camp families, and staff that can last a lifetime! We hope to inspire life-long activity, respect for the environment, love of recreation and fun, and relationships that will last a lifetime.

This program is 100% outdoors.  We have sheltered areas that provide rain shelter and shade – however – your camper must be dressed for the weather each and every day.

Junior General Camp includes:  Crafts, puppets, story time, sports and movement based activity time, free play time, creative play, music, yoga, nature, forest games and more!

During the summer of 2021 there will not be any swimming – however – there will be free play on the beach from time to time.  This free play will not require changing into swimming gear however life jackets will be warn due to proximity to water.

Each day will consist of 6 activity blocks, 2 snack times and a lunch break.  Please send your camper with sunscreen and bug spray applied.

why is this program great for your camper?

Our Vision

The vision for Kids Inc Camp is to bring all of the ideas, activities, programs, attitudes, staff atmospheres, and camp traditions of a typical overnight camp experience into the day camp environment.

We have planned the Junior General Camp Program according to the developmental needs of the children who attend and we are excited to watch your child bloom at camp!  Curiosity, learning, adventure, friendship, and fun are all a part of the plan here at camp.  Camp is a safe place to try new things, challenge ourselves, learn through outdoor play and grow.

safety at camp

The safety of our campers is our primary concern at Kids Inc Camp.  We pride ourselves on our safety training, protocol, policies, and practices that help to keep every aspect of the program and facilities as safe as they can be at all times.

Covid-19 has presented us with some new and unique challenges with regards to safety and we know that you will have lots of questions for us about how we plan to keep you and your camper/s safe in this regard during their time at camp with us.  We are here to talk – over the phone or via email anytime.
