HIGH FIVE Ⓡ PRINCIPALS OF HEALTHY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT

The HIGH FIVE® principles are a framework for healthy child development in recreation and sports, ensuring positive experiences for children aged 4–12 through five key pillars: A Caring Leader, Opportunity to Play, Make Friends, Master Skills, and Participate. These principles focus on nurturing mental health and emotional safety.

Our staff team are mentors who are attuned to children’s needs, and who create a safe and welcoming environment for our campers/participants.

Kids Inc. ensures that our activities are fun, foster creativity, and are not solely focused on competition.

Our programs are designed to help children develop social skills, connect with their peers, and feel included.

We provide activities that allow children to learn, grow, and experience success, this boosts self-esteem.

We ensure children have a voice in their activities, make choices, and are actively engaged rather than passive observers.
